How do you choose hotels?

We use hotels we know: central, clean, with good breakfast and friendly staff. For each city we suggest options in different price ranges.

Can I get family rooms?

Yes. Many hotels offer family rooms or connecting rooms; apartments are a good alternative for longer stays.

When can I check in?

Usually from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am or noon. Early check-in can be requested but is not guaranteed.

Is a city tax charged?

Many European cities charge a small tourist tax per night, paid at the hotel. We mention it in your quote.
