Combining Several Countries

Europe is compact, and many of our guests combine Germany with its neighbours. Munich is three hours from Salzburg and four from Zurich, Frankfurt is less than four hours from Paris by fast train, and Berlin is close to Prague and Poland. We plan the order of the cities so that you never spend a whole day on the road.

A good rule of thumb: plan at least two nights in each place, three in the big capitals, and one free afternoon every few days to rest or explore on your own.
