What do I need to rent a car?

A valid driving licence, an international driving permit for licences from outside the EU, a credit card in the driver’s name and a minimum age, usually 21 to 25.

Can I drive on German motorways?

Yes. Many stretches have no speed limit, but the recommended speed is 130 km/h. Cities have environmental zones; rental cars already have the required sticker.

Is a car with driver expensive?

For families and small groups it is often comparable to taxis and trains, and much more comfortable for airport transfers and day trips.

Can I return the car in another country?

Yes, one-way rentals across borders are possible for an extra fee, which we show in your quote.
