Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Buon Ma Thuot – Coffee & Culture
Upon arrival, visit the World Coffee Museum, a stunning modern tribute to Vietnam’s coffee culture. Continue to explore local markets and taste your first authentic highland brew. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnographic Museum and learn about the region’s many indigenous groups. Overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.

Day 2: Buon Don – Forest Legends and Traditions
Drive to Buon Don, once famous for its elephant tamers. Visit the traditional E De longhouses, a suspension bridge over the Serepok River, and learn about forest spirituality at the tomb of the elephant king Khunjunob. Enjoy a traditional gong music performance and explore the dry forest ecosystem in Yok Don National Park. Return to Buon Ma Thuot for overnight.

Day 3: Lak Lake – Tranquil Waters and Village Life
Transfer to Lak Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in Vietnam. Visit Jun Village to meet E De families and enjoy a dugout canoe ride on the lake. Spend time walking or cycling through rice paddies and pepper gardens. Optional: traditional cooking experience with a local family. Overnight at a lakeside lodge.

Day 4: Morning Reflections & Departure
Enjoy a peaceful morning by the lake. After breakfast, drive back to Buon Ma Thuot airport for your departure. Stop along the way for final photos of the highlands.
